PJSC United Mining and Chemical Company continues to retain the status of one of the largest and social responsible employers of the country.
 
In January-September 2018, the company increased payments of all types of taxes without exceptions and mandatory payments to the budgets of Ukraine to UAH 751.7 million. Last year, this indicator amounted to UAH 721.7 million. Together with the payroll, the company performed payments for the total amount of UAH 1.097 billion against UAH 1.003 billion over 9 months of 2017.
 
Specifically, in January-September 2018, PJSC UMCC paid record high dividends to the national budget for the year 2017 – UAH 332.6 million. This exceeded the previous indicator by more than UAH 10 million. Furthermore, our company paid UAH 114.8 million in profit tax and nearly UAH 112 million in mineral royalties.
 
“We are hoping that our payments to the national and local budgets will help support the country in all good undertakings: reforms, road repairs, construction of schools, kindergartens, maintenance of important social facilities, support of defense capability, social welfare payments, etc. For us, it is a great honor to feel such responsibility – to be a major budget revenue generating enterprise, on which the quality of life of the Ukrainian citizens depends,” comments Oleksandr Gladushko, Acting Chairman of the Board of PJSC UMCC.
 
According to Visnyk.Rating magazine of the State Fiscal Service of Ukraine, PJSC United Mining and Chemical Company is ranked 59th in the TOP 100 Largest Taxpayers of Ukraine based on the results of H1 2018. “This is an important indicator for the company, as it means that the company fully complies with the labor laws and is socially responsible,” the publication commented on the company’s achievements.
 
Earlier, in the rating of the same publication as of January 1, 2018, our company surpassed such large taxpayers as Pivdenno-Zakhidna Zaliznytsya, PJSC Interpipe Nyzhnyodniprovskiy Tube-Rolling Plant, SE Roshen Confectionery Corporation, PJSC Credit Agricole Bank, Auchan Hypermarket, PJSC Farmak and other major employees, having placed 83rd in the TOP 100 Largest Taxpayers of Ukraine.
