UMCC awarded Certificate of Merit of the Verkhovna Rada
18.04.2019On April 17, Oleksandr Gladushko, Acting Chairman of the Board of JSC United Mining and Chemical Company, was awarded a Certificate of Merit of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine and a commemorative medal of the VRU in the state chamber of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine.
First Vice Premier of Ukraine, Minister of Economic Development and Trade Stepan Kubiv and State Secretary of the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade of Ukraine Oleksiy Perevezentsev awarded the certificate of merit and the medal For Merits to the Ukrainian People to Gladushko. They thanked the head of the company for the substantial contribution of JSC UMCC to the proceeds of the national budget of Ukraine, specifically payment of record-high dividends.
As a reminder, JSC United Mining and Chemical Company transferred UAH 321.8 million as dividends to the national budget of Ukraine in 2017, setting its own record. In 2018, JSC UMCC paid UAH 332.6 million to the national budget as dividends, surpassing its record of 2017 and setting a new one.
Over the period of management of two subsidiaries – Vilnohirsk Mining and Metallurgical Plant and Irshansk Mining and Processing Plant, JSC United Mining and Chemical Company paid UAH 2.9 billion in taxes, fees and mandatory payments to the national and local budgets.
Over nearly five years of its operation on the titanium market, the company has held the image of the donor of the national budget of Ukraine, and was ranked in Top 100 largest taxpayers of Ukraine and most profitable state enterprises of Ukraine and industry.
Throughout its operation, the company has been steadily increasing revenues from sales of its own products in the foreign markets and has earned the reputation of a reliable partner among foreign and domestic consumers. The company's products are in demand in over 30 countries across the global, in all continents, except for the Antarctic.
