For the medical workers safeguarding public health

Vilnohirsk Mining and Metallurgical Plant never rejects those who need help, and in these difficult times for Ukraine, puts a lot of effort into safeguarding the population of our town from the epidemic and making the hard working days of medical workers easier.
Natalia Shkurovska, Chief Medical Officer of the town’s central hospital, recently approached the management of the subsidiary with a request to help organize transportation of the medical workers to their place of work, as the city transport had been shut down during the quarantine and the medical workers had been forced to either walk to work or take a taxi. The plant allocated a bus for the hospital to follow the route of the town bus and transport medical workers to the hospital and back to their home for free.
This is not the only request of the chief medical officer of the town’s central hospital that was solved. The management of the subsidiary organized performance of a number of sanitary engineering and electrical works to ensure supply of hot running water to the boxed infectious disease department of the hospital, specifically installation of water heaters. “We are very grateful to the management of the subsidiary for the help, as in order to overcome coronavirus we all need to join efforts,” says Natalia Shkurovska.
