Greater attention to the future staff
19.02.2015The management of Vilnogirsk Mining and Metallurgical Plant pays great attention to the process of the future staff training not only for the plant purpose, but also for other industrial enterprises of Dnipropetrovsk region. From times to times there are excursions for pupils, students of the vocational schools and universities at the premises of VMMP. On 18th of February twenty seven students of the second course of the National vocational school “Western Dnieper Center of Vocational Education”, studying the differential profession “Shovelman, wireman, electric and gas welder”, have visited MTP of the Plant.
The excursion was arranged by the leading specialists of VMMP in response to the request of the NVS “WDCVE” administrative personnel about event execution. A set of responsible persons is formed according to instruction from an acting chief engineer of VMMP A.I. Prokopenko. It includes: HR department chief A.N. Povstyanko, on whom all arrangement decisions was leaved; LPS chief V.G. Drozd – responsible for providing a labor protection briefing for visitors; А.P. Zimbal a chief of MTP OTD, on whom the obligations of guide was placed; V.N. Sharko – responsible for transport furnishing for students tour; CMVS chief A.M. Moskalenko – responsible for visitors passage to the plant territory and back. Acquaintance of the young people with the leading enterprise in the city – VMMP began with the safety instruction. Then the visitors were moved to an open-pit mine by the allocated plant transport. The students were impressed seeing the work of mining complexes and the process of mined rock dispatching. As they were interested mostly in equipment engaged in the process of mining works, the questions were about its structure and maintenance. During excursion visitors got from guide answers to all questions they were interested in, trained practically their theoretical knowledge, and enriched themselves with useful information for their future work. We would like to believe that all gained knowledge visitors will use in their further education and after completion of a course will join the staff of VMMP.
