Metalurh CSP raised UAH 5,000 for charity
19.09.2017The Good Begins with You – that was the name of the charity concert that took place at Metalurh Culture and Sport Palace on Friday, September 15.
Administration of Vilnohirsk Mining and Metallurgical Plant responded to the proposal of the head of children’s group at CSP Metalurh Darya Bosenko to hold a charity concert to raise funds for Ilya Krasnoshchek, who as a result of an injury cannot move on his own and requires a long and expensive rehabilitation.
The plant’s management provided the big hall of the Metalurh Culture and Sport Palace for the concert. Creative groups of the Palace and the city – mainly children and youth – prepared music performances to support Ilya and gather all those willing to help at the concert hall.
Darya Bosenko opened the concert with an incredible act with a dancing shadow. Exemplary dance groups Perlynka and Radist, as well as Svitlana Sokolenko Variety Dance Studio with their dancing extravaganzas made the stage come to life. Also, good performances on the stage of the Palace were delivered by the participants of the studio of sports and ballroom dance Volta Dance. The vocal ensemble Accord and its soloists – Kateryna Kulik, Iryna Dovbnya, Anastasia Mukha, as well as members of Alla Fabrykantova chamber choir - Victoria Zelenska and Olena Patsuy – presented beautiful songs to the audience. Victoria Osypova and Kateryna Ivashyna, members of Oleh Yaroshenko Pop Vocal Studio, also sang on the stage of the Palace that evening. The instrumental performance was delivered by the Souvenir Ensemble.
During the final song, the members of the creative groups and the audience put money into the boxes in front of the stage for Ilya, and after the concert his parents were invited to the stage. They were given the funds collected during the concert and from the sale of tickets, the cost of which was UAH 20. In total, UAH 5,150 was raised for the rehabilitation of the young man. Ilya’s parents were very touched by the responsiveness of everyone who came to this concert, as well as the care and charity of all the organizers and participants of the concert. They expressed sincere gratitude to everyone who helped their son become one step closer to recovery.
