The long-awaited new Japanese Rigaku spectrometer arrived at the Irshansk Mining and Processing Plant, a subsidiary of PJSC United Mining and Chemical Company. The equipment will reduce the time of the analysis of the products and improve the efficiency of IMPP laboratory.
PJSC UMCC purchased the Japanese X-ray fluorescence spectrometer Rigaku NEX CG for the plant’s laboratory. The device is expensive, priced at UAH 2.7 mn, and the employees of the laboratory lay great hopes on it.
The purchased device will quickly determine the key elements and impurities in the samples with a high degree of quality and precision. The spectrometer has high analytical capabilities; it is universal and easy to use. In addition, the device has a wide range of applications in the study of product quality.
The employees of the central plant’s laboratory of IMPP expect that Rigaku will save considerable time and reagents when analyzing the composition of products of enrichment of current production and finished products, which directly go for shipment to consumers, and will greatly simplify their work.
“The spectrometer will quickly determine the composition of the finished products and will provide a possibility to see whether it meets the requirements of the client. The speed and precision of the results of the analysis will reduce the dispatch time from the moment of production to supplies of finished products to the buyers,” says Oleksandr Gladushko, Acting Chairman of the Board of PJSC UMCC.
Rigaku arrived at the IMPP just in time, since certification of the compliance of the central factory laboratory with the Rules for Certification of Measuring Laboratories of Enterprises and Organizations of the Ministry of Industrial Policy and Trade of Ukraine will begin June 22, says Tetiana Zabrodska, Head of the Central Plant’s Laboratory of IMPP. This procedure aims to document the competence and the right of the laboratory to conduct research and analysis in accordance with the requirements of regulatory documents.
We hope that IMPP laboratory will get a high assessment of its capabilities!
