PJSC UMCC employees receive honorary state awards

Two employees of PJSC UMCC recieved state awards for the significant personal contribution to the development of domestic metallurgical and mining industry pursuant to the Presidential D No. 206/2018 “On awarding the state awards of Ukraine on the occasion of the Day of Employees of the Metallurgical and Mining Industry”
The solemn award ceremony was held on August 2 at the premises of the Ministry of Economic Development of Ukraine. First Deputy Prime Minister of Ukraine – Minister of Economic Development and Trade of Ukraine Stepan Kubiv and State Secretary of the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade of Ukraine Oleksiy Perevezentsev presented the honorary state awards and honors to the employees of the metallurgical and mining industry.
Oleksandr Piven, chief mining specialist at Vilnohirsk Mining and Metallurgical Plant, a subsidiary of PJSC UMCC, was awarded the honorary title of Honorary Worker of Industry of Ukraine.
Oleksandr Hryshchenko, electric-gas welder of the open-pit mine No. 8 at Irshansk Mining and Processing Plant, was awarded the medal “For Work and Valor”.
The medal "For Work and Victory" was awarded to the electric-gas welder of the 8th quarry of the branch "Irshansky mining and concentrating plant" of OGHK PJSC Oleksandr Gryshchenko
